Shipping costs for containers are much cheaper than using air freight, however the shipping duration can reach 7-10 days from the packing house to the final destination in China.

The main Indonesian port  for exports is Tanjung Priok in Jakarta. 

 

One 40"ft reefer container can fit up to 2400 baskets or approximately 18,000kg

 

Depending on destination port, container costs from Jakarta to China are approximately USD$2000 per 40′′ft reefer.

 All Indonesian Mangosteen air freight shipments depart from either Bali or Jakarta International Airports. There is a minimum of 1000kg per shipment or approximately 125 baskets of Mangosteen
